Using the Brush Tools in Adobe Illustrator CS5 3

Most people feel that when you are using brushes in Adobe Illustrator, you should be creating "art." Although this is true sometimes, you can even use brushes in production solutions to not waste time. Cash in brushes for the majority of different types of artwork, including drawing zippers, shirt collars, picket fences, and a lot of more features. A great feature, new in CS5, enables you to tell Illustrator points to "stretch" (repeat) surrounding the shape. Dotted lines can be purchased in the preview window in the dialog box. On the Colorization section of the dialog box, choose Tints and Shades out of the Method pop-up list. This feature permits you to colorize the brush after putting it on for some artwork. TIP Including the Tints and Shades method, two other methods mean you can apply a color in to the brush after it's put on to artwork, but with somewhat different results: Tints applies the selected stroke color only in tints. Hue Shift allow you to sample one particular color with the brush, but this choice changes a perfect sampled color. If you are done making your selections inside Art Brush Options dialog box, click OK. A different brush is residing in the Brushes panel. Set up a circle, line, along with other shape and apply the brand new art brush by selecting it inside the Brushes panel or within the cp (see Figure 6).
